Our project would qualify for the Extreme Makeover show. There isn't an inch of this home that hasn't been altered by the gang from EWO. New walls, new wiring, new plumbing, new doorways, new roof, new floors - you name it, by the time we're done this dwelling will not resemble the one built 60 years ago. Mark Wittig shared in devotion time this morning about the four sides of faith - grace, truth, hope and power. The hope side of faith is particularly applicable to what we're doing here as it doesn't always get to see results but it has confidence that God will work through it at some time. We may never see or know the blessings that someone will receive through residing in this home and the many ways God will move through the people who utilize it, but we can have faith that God will accomplish much. Some attended Acevedo church spiritual formation time tonight where we held a group discussion on Two Cultures - One Gospel. We compared the church here to home and thoughts about our cultures. We felt love and respect from these dear folks.

I have been reading the posts, looks like a back breaker down there! The Bear fans had a back breaker up here too, let me tell you the number of depressed people coming in for counseling has reached new heights! Ha. Ha. Oh well, as we say.
We are grateful for the work you are doing -- we pray all will be done safely. Many prayers are going up for all of you. I am sure it is a great blessing to the workers all around you.
To Jeff Fritzen: good news, spring training reporting for pitchers and catchers only one week away!! Yippee.
